Umar apprises WB, ADB about reform process

Finance Minister Asad Umar met with representatives of Asian Development Bank (ADB), World Bank (WB) and his Saudi Arabian counterpart and discussed issues related to economy, reforms and measures taken by Pakistan. He held a number of bilateral meetings on the sidelines of IMF and WB spring meetings in Washington DC. The Finance Minister and ADB President discussed continuation of Pakistan’s ongoing engagement with the bank. With the WB, he reviewed WB’s Pakistan portfolio and discussed projects in the pipeline as well as the sectors where World Bank could further scale up its cooperation in Pakistan.
