Private sector borrowed PKR 352Bn during 8MFY21, 80.5% higher than the borrowing of PKR 195Bn made during 8MFY20. The private sector borrowing was just PKR 196.3Bn for entire FY20. Islamic banks also geared up their effort as their lending to the private sector jumped by125% to PKR 62Bn compared to PKR 27Bn in 8MFY20.
