The large-scale manufacturing sector grew 7.9% in the first seven months of current fiscal year. On a year-on-year basis, the LSM sector grew 9.1% in January 2021, stated the national data collecting agency. Out of 15 major sectors, eight recorded positive growth including textile (2.6%) and non-metallic minerals (22.3%). While output in seven sectors contracted including iron and steel (-1%) and electronics (-25%).
