Adviser for Commerce Razak Dawood has said that in Mar’21 Pakistan’s exports have increased to $ 2.35Bn which is an increase of 13.4% over Feb’21 which is the monthly highest in last 10 years. He added that this is also the first time since 2011 that exports have crossed the $ 2Bn mark for six consecutive months. In 9MFY21, exports have increased 7% to $ 18.6Bn as compared to $ 17.4Bn in 9MFY20 while imports grew 12% to $ 39.2Bn compared to $ 34.8Bn during 9MFY20.
