Exports have increased by 7.12% to $ 18.69Bn during 9MFY21 as compared to $ 17.44Bn in 9MFY20. The imports also increased by 13.57% by growing from $ 34.79Bn to $ 39.51Bn during 9MFY21. Based on the figures, the country’s trade deficit increased by 20.05% to $ 20.83Bn against the deficit of $ 17.35Bn in 9MFY20. On year-on-year basis, the exports of the country increased by 30.44% to $ 2.36Bn during Mar’21 as compared to $ 1.81Bn of exports in Mar’20.
